ATCM Offers LGA members six months free membership

ATCM is collaborating with the LGA to deliver free membership for six months to those councils who are not currently part of the ATCM network.

Local government across the country is innovating in an attempt to make a positive difference. In order to ensure best practice can be shared ATCM is collaborating with the LGA to deliver free membership for six months to those councils who are not currently part of the ATCM network. This offer is limited to ATCM’s Knowledge Exchange which includes access to its Basecamp network and membership rates for events between the 1st June and the 30th November 2018.

Why ATCM?

ATCM is the membership body dedicated to supporting all who manage town centres, city centres and high streets across the country. If you need the support of a diverse network then ATCM can help.

ATCM’s membership includes local authorities, BIDs, Town Teams and other Town Centre Partnerships. Its membership is also spread geographically across the UK and Ireland with additional links to the International Downtown Association. This means you can access one of the world’s most advanced networks focused on town centre management. This diversity generates ideas and innovation which is highly valued by the network so get involved.

What is Basecamp?

Responding to the suggestions of local authority members suggestions on developing a virtual hub for practitioners to discuss key town centre issues ATCM has established a community on Basecamp.

As part of this free membership, you can have access to as many of these groups as you want to start engaging with the ATCM network and benefit from the knowledge and expertise of others. Access to Basecamp will end on the 30th November.

What About ATCM Events?

ATCM hosts around 30 events a year across the country including regional roundtables and national conferences. The majority of these are free to members but a limited few will incur a charge. Members always get a special rate. As part of the six months free trial you will have access to these rates meaning high quality networking opportunities on a range of issues including car parking, high street homes, the digital high street and evening and night time economy.

Why not join us for the ATCM Summer School 2018 on the 27th June and 28th June. Summer School is our annual event that includes the ATCM Annual Review, plenaries, workshops, study tours and the Town and City Management Awards Dinner. This year’s theme is ‘Excellence in Events Curation’ and will explore how to ensure events can be used to boost a town centre economy providing an experience that neither out-of-town destinations or online can replicate.

Terms and Conditions

This offer provides members of LGA access to ATCM’s Knowledge Exchange. This is limited to Basecamp and events. Other services (Representation and Policy, Standards and Added Value) are not included. To access these additional services you will need to become a full ATCM member.

This offer is not available to existing members of ATCM. It is designed to provide short-term support for those in local government who can then consider whether full membership of ATCM would be of value.

This offer is exclusive to members of the LGA. It is not applicable to non-members.

Free membership ends on the 30th November 2018. You can join anytime between the 1st June 2018 and the 30th November 2018.
