During severe weather events, we support our members in affected areas, by promoting the work councils are doing to protect and assist their communities, participating in national recovery groups convened by government and presenting the case for additional resources for response and repair.
To support that work we are keen to ensure we have a comprehensive picture of the issues and impacts on councils during such events and would welcome feedback from you on this.

We are also interested in evidence of:
- how your council has been supporting local communities (your response, partnership working, working with the voluntary sector)
- cost impacts (revenue and capital) of response, recovery and repair (including any estimates of costs of damage to road and flood infrastructure)
- other local impacts, for example issues for local businesses.
