We work with councils to sustainably adopt digital technology that transforms health and wellbeing for their residents.

We co-create improvement tools and support to build councils’ confidence in the use of digital technology. Through this support, local authorities can work with their residents to ensure they are supported to live the lives they want to live.

The Housing Advisers Programme is designed to support councils by helping them meet their local housing need. It aims to be simple, flexible, and locally-led. This year, 16 successful applicants received money from the programme to promote, facilitate and enhance their role and capacity to meet their local housing need.

The pandemic has had a profound impact across different demographic groups, explore case studies from councils who have worked to try and reduce health inequalities different ages groups face.

The Local Government Digital Switchover Working Group aims to give councils an opportunity to discuss issues, opportunities and good practice relating to the analogue to digital switchover for adult social care and local government more broadly. 

We’re working across the public and private sector to develop guidance and support for local government over the switchover period.

As part of our sector-led improvement work, this hub intends to offer support to councils throughout the switchover period.
