Cllr Nesil Caliskan, Chair of the LGA’s Safer and Stronger Communities Board, said: “Domestic abuse is a horrendous crime that has a significant, long-lasting impact on children and their families and community based domestic abuse services are a vital resource in supporting victims towards recovery.
“The Domestic Abuse Commissioner’s report into community-based service provision will be a significant contributor in evidencing the need for increased investment in these services.
