Liverpool City Council has significantly invested in multi-agency risk assessment conferences (MARACs) to deal with the highest risk cases of violence against women and girls (VAWG). MARACs share information and discuss risk management for these cases and are attended by housing, health, adult and children's services, police, probation and others as appropriate.
Residents' involvement in the design of a small branch library on the outskirts of Brighton has been an inspiration for the LSP. This case study shows how the council, along with other partners across the city, has developed a city-wide approach to engagement activities.
Southwark Council's ‘Choice and Liveability' project is an example of how councils can involve residents in street improvements. The project was a pilot that involved just four streets.
