Children's commissioning and procurement network

The children's commissioning and procurement network brings together senior procurement and commission professionals from local government Children's Services across England.

The children's commissioning and procurement network, organised by the LGA, brings together senior procurement and commission professionals from local government Children's Services across England, with at least one representative from each region.

The group reports regularly to the National Advisory Group, which in turn reports to the LGA's Improvement and Innovation Board.

Additionally, the network provides input to the Residential Care Leadership Board, managed by the Department for Education.

Meetings are held quarterly. For more information, you can join the Knowledge Hub's Children's Services Commissioning and Procurement Group, as well as the Children's Procurement and Commissioning - National Contracts Project group.

Terms of reference

The group's terms of reference are currently being reviewed and updated to align with its new strategic approach to meetings.
