Bringing together officers of all levels to support them with developing the tools, skills, opportunities and capabilities required to help grow the retrofit sector in their region.

Following our Regional Retrofit Action Plan training, councils have shared their learnings and what action planning looks like in their area.

Over six months in 2021 and 2022, 24 officers and councillors from local authorities across England were invited to explore, unpick and address the challenges of retrofitting domestic properties.

Cllr Laura Miller confirmed that climate change is a cross cutting service issue which means that it concerns us all.

We have four key workstreams on planning and the environment: Biodiversity Net Gain, Nutrient Neutrality, Nature Recovery and Protected Sites Strategies. We are also looking at how to help councils join this all together to plan for a better environment.
