Building on the work and resources of the Diverse by Design Guide for council services, we've produced a practical workbook specifically for adult social care organisations.
Our Diverse by Design for adult social care workbook sets out 15 elements that we believe are fundamental in helping adult social care organisations to embed fair values, systems, and behaviours. It builds on the work and resources of the Diverse by Design guide for council services, published by the Local Government Association (LGA) in 2021.
The 15 elements can be considered in any order and at a pace to suit your workplace priorities. One step at a time, this workbook can enable you to champion and implement change and embed the practice of inclusion.
We are working with four partner councils to trial the implementation of Diverse by Design for adult social care. This work is underway and will conclude March 2024.
