The Local democracy education setting resources are intended to support councillors visiting schools to talk about their role as a councillor and the council itself to support improved understanding of local democracy amongst young people.
These resources have been prepared in partnership with COSLA, NILGA and WLGA and are adaptable to councils and councillors' roles across England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. The resources are split between primary and secondary school aged children.
