Its focus is the national digital transformation of two educational services: applications for secondary school admissions and free school meals. This is delivering significant customer benefits as well as providing savings for both local authorities and central government departments.

The programme has helped to improve the experience for parents and improved their perception of the local authority services. The total savings for 2014/15 was £77,650.
