The Innovation Zone 2024 took place on 22 to 24 October as part of the 2024 Annual Conference and Exhibition.
The Local Government Association (LGA) held its Annual Conference and Exhibition, at the Harrogate Convention Centre between 22 to 24 October 2024.
Each year, the Innovation Zone at the LGA Conference showcases the outstanding, innovative work of councils across a range of service and policy areas. In 2024, we had over 100 speakers from over 40 local authorities present on their solutions to the sector’s challenges – a huge thank you to all speakers and everyone that contributed to the success of the Innovation Zone!
The Innovation Zone again offered a vibrant, creative space and programme within the LGA’s Annual Conference and Exhibition. If you’d like to take part in the 2025 Innovation Zone to share your new ideas, keep your eyes peeled for the opening of applications (currently planned for December 2024). We will be aiming to share more excellent practice that all delegates can learn from and utilise to create tangible, positive impact in their own councils and communities.
