Latest advisory bulletin

Advisory Bulletin 723 contains details of the amendments that have now been made to Government guidance on paid holidays for part-year workers to clarify the legal position. There are also case reports about detriment and unfair dismissal for health and safety reasons relating to Covid-19 and also union members suffering detriments as a result of taking strike action. There are details of a range of guidance produced by the Government, Acas and the Equality and Human Rights Commission to assist with the various amendments to family friendly employment law provisions that came into force on 6 April. In addition, there is news of a new DWP Disability Confident guide for managers, an update on the draft Code of Practice on Dismissal and Re-engagement, a call for evidence on the use of fit notes and finally, the Employment Law Timetable.
