As part of the Prevention Matters series, the LGA has developed an advanced one day training workshop to enable elected members to consider their progress in implementing their prevention plans.
The Prevention Matters Plus workshop provides an opportunity to consider practical issues affecting your council policies and plans to improve the health and wellbeing of your residents. This workshop considers the national and local context of prevention and reducing health inequalities, enabling elected members to consider ways of increasing the impact of their local plans.
