The Statutory Notices Survey 2023 was conducted by the Local Government Association’s Research and Information team between 10 January and 5 February 2023.

This survey was conducted to gather up-to-date information about the process of publishing statutory notices. The results will inform LGA lobbying to change the current requirement to publish public notices in local newspapers.
