Sheffield City Council wants to make the regeneration of the estates at Scowerdons, Weakland and Newstead (SWaN) as successful as possible. We know that this will be a long and complicated process that will cause some level of disturbance for everyone affected. We will work hard to minimise the disruption wherever possible.

Summary Springfield Park is in an area of Cheltenham that ranks high in the tables of deprivation. Far from being the community asset it was designed to be, fears about personal safety and anti-social behaviour meant the park was shunned by local residents. Cheltenham Borough Council turned to the local community for a solution.

‘Together We Can' is a programme of community engagement work across Cumbria. One project in Harraby shows the positive impact the programme has had on the police, district and county council's work in communities. Its success prompted a visit by Prime Minister Gordon Brown in 2009.

Liverpool City Council has significantly invested in multi-agency risk assessment conferences (MARACs) to deal with the highest risk cases of violence against women and girls (VAWG). MARACs share information and discuss risk management for these cases and are attended by housing, health, adult and children's services, police, probation and others as appropriate.

Following piloting a small provision and a combined Police and Ambulance Rapid Response Vehicle provision, the Blackpool Night Safe Haven was piloted on a larger scale during 2011 and later rolled out as a permanent service. The Night Safe Haven is an interagency approach to addressing the increasing number of ambulance call-outs and police activity in the night-time economy.

The first 12 months of the Derbyshire Integrated Offender Management (IOM) scheme has seen criminal justice staff and partners working with approximately 300 prolific, acquisitive and violent offenders.
