This collaborative project set out to help people with learning disabilities live more independently, particularly after the Covid pandemic. This was done by developing and implementing virtual support through a provider that guides people through information and learning materials to develop their employability and better manage their mental health and wellbeing.

Harrogate council was keen to understand and evaluate the issues and challenges facing delivery of smaller sites across the district. Looking a fresh at how we interact with landowners, promoters and developers.

The Government announced that surge testing was to take place in Norfolk on Tuesday 16 February.  The testing started the following day focussing on the market towns of Diss and Roydon, which are home to around 10,000 people. 

Waltham Forest Council has been working on a vaccine confidence programme, aimed at increasing take-up, particularly amongst its most vulnerable residents.

Broadland District and South Norfolk Councils sought support from the LGA’s Housing Advisor Programme to develop a pioneering, shared service model for the single officer team who have been delivering the Housing and Homelessness service from January 2020.

An example of a council using its Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic staff network to help it work towards a real culture change within the organisation on equality and diversity issues.

Walsall council used mobile testing and adapted their approach to reach different groups.

‘The Bridge’ is a tool for data visualisation, designed to display public sector data and provide effective economic forecasting and market insights. Follow-on funding was granted to share the project and its learning with other councils.

This project explored the development of online care accounts for service users and carers, enabling them to complete tasks such as updating demographic information or downloading care plans.
