Housing is one of the routes to increase fostering capacity, predominantly by working with existing in-house carers who could offer homes to more children but are restricted by the size / type of home they live in.

The Wiltshire Parent Carer Council has achieved a unique reach by reducing barriers to membership. It’s currently made up of over 4000 active members who share their thoughts about the services they access.

The objectives of the Lancashire Family Hubs Networks are, to support the wider Lancashire Children Young People and Families Partnership long-term vision, in providing a universal family support service where mothers, fathers, carers, children, young people and families, can access the early help and support they need to build stronger and more resilient families.
