New challenges, new conversations
COVID-19 has changed how we live, work and communicate with each other. During the COVID-19 crisis, local authorities rose to the challenge and engaged with their communities at an unprecedented level and pace.
Effective communications and engagement is key to supporting and protecting residents, adjusting to new ways of living and working, rebuilding economies and managing local outbreaks.
The LGA will be drafting a new communications strategy in the Autumn of 2022 to ensure alignment with the organisation’s business plan which is being developed over the Summer.
