Building Safety Knowledge Hub

The Local Government Association and the National Housing Federation are co-hosting an online social housing building owner network across England, to provide information, and develop and share good practice, on building safety.

The Building Safety Knowledge hub is open to all landlords with an interest in building safety, as well as building safety regulators working in local authorities or fire and rescue services.

Councils and housing associations play a vital role in making sure their buildings and residents are safe, and the Hub provides a way for organisations to learn from each other’s experiences in tackling emerging issues and assisting one another in responding to local or national challenges.

The dedicated, online Knowledge hub provides the latest updates and information about the government’s building safety programme. With a library hosting key resources, and a forum, it provides a space for social housing building owners and regulators to share learning and best practice, so that we can work together as a sector to continually improve.

The LGA is keen to hear from councils to grow the knowledge hub further and is encouraging local authorities to get involved by signing up at https://khub.net/group/social-housing-building-safety-group or emailing [email protected] for further information.
