Greater Manchester is the first city-region to develop a Health and Justice Strategy. It is fully inclusive of people with a learning disability and autistic people. It was the first time that health, social care, and criminal justice services came together to look at the issues in an integrated wider strategy. United Pride Friends is a group service for members of the LGBTQ+ community with Autism and Learning difficulties. The Fylde Coast Health and Social Care Career Academy is a result of the partnership between local care providers, Blackpool and The Fylde College, Blackpool Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Blackpool Council.

Darlington is an example of a council that demonstrates good practice across all six domains of this outcomes and improvement framework and achieves excellent outcomes for people with a learning disability. It has also consistently realised significant efficiency savings.
