Spelthorne Borough Council provides grant funding to Citizens Advice Runnymede & Spelthorne (CARS) for a Core Advice Service and dedicated Spelthorne case worker.

St Helen's council, in collaboration with the Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) for Merseyside bid into the fifth round of the Government's Safer Streets Fund to fund projects designed to make women safer in the night-time economy. For St Helens Borough Council, research had shown fuel and food poverty was going to be a big issue for the borough. A Cost of Living Action Group was set up with partners to identify where support was needed to be targeted and how they could work together to support those in need. The Mini Summer Reading Challenge seemed an ideal programme to support parents and settings with early speech and language in the home learning environment.

Staffordshire County Council recognises the need for new relationships with citizens and communities to deliver its vision of a connected Staffordshire. To help achieve this, the council is seeking new approaches to shaping customer demand and developing community capacity through using digital solutions and taking a more commercial outlook.
