Our virtual transformation roundtables showcase the work of councils who are undertaking transformation to fundamentally change their systems, processes, and skills to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of local government service delivery. Each roundtable will focus on a different Transformation topic or theme that councils have told us that they wish to learn more about.

Roundtables are open to English council officers, free of charge and will last a maximum of two hours and be hosted on Microsoft Teams.

The roundtable will explore the importance of how councils can harness the potential of their estates and assets to kickstart growth, maintain financial stability and transform public service delivery. The session will feature ‘spotlight on’ presentations from councils delivering effective estate and asset transformation before progressing into a roundtable discussion.

The roundtable will focus on how councils can implement approaches and frameworks to help them understand strategic needs and allocate resources to manage the delivery of transformation and change projects and programmes. The roundtable will focus on how councils can implement approaches and solutions to workforce challenges around recruitment and retention. This event will give you the opportunity to hear from councils adopting innovative approaches, take part in collaborative discussion, and share insight and good practice with others facing similar challenges.

The roundtable will focus on how councils can develop knowledge, capability, and skills to deliver effective transformation projects and programmes.
